William Winstone has been an executive coach and performance psychologist since 1994. His approach delivers pragmatic business outcomes through purposeful and productive relationships. He has used this experience to develop leaders and teams in a wide range of businesses, including a major bank’s top cadre of senior executives, including CEO, to support personal insights and underpin cultural change and new leadership behaviours.
William’s sports experience includes Team GB psychologist in the build up to the Beijing Olympics, psychologist to GB Rowing 2006-2012 including 2010, 2011 Paralympic Worlds and 2012 London Paralympics.
He has a first degree in business studies, a Masters degree in sport science, and is an accredited psychotherapist and sport psychologist. He is accredited to use the Hogan HPI & HDS, Harthill Leadership Development Framework, the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, and the Apter Motivational Style Profile.
Among his clients are PWC Consulting, Barclays, The Royal Shakespeare Company, Cancer Research UK, and the NHS. Recent projects have included leading an e-learning based development program for partners and directors in a professional services firm, and delivering our ‘Manager as Coach’ training programme to drive cultural change, boost morale and increase employee retention in a global IT business.
